  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Rice:

  • 250 g (1 ¼ cups) basmati or jasmine rice

  • 500 ml (2 cups) water

  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Rice

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly in a sieve until the water runs clear.

  2. Bring water to a boil in a pot and add the rice and salt.

  3. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10–12 minutes until tender.

  4. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.

Step 2: Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, mustard, soy sauce, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  2. Add the chicken strips and let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. Pour in the remaining marinade and let it simmer briefly until slightly thickened and glossy.

Step 4: Serve
