Ingredients

Scale

Air Fryer Wings

  • 1 pound chicken wings

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Olive oil or avocado oil cooking spray

Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce

Instructions

Cook the Wings

  1. Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Season the Wings
Lightly spritz both sides of the wings with cooking spray. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. Air Fry
Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Make the Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce

  1. Melt the Butter
While wings cook, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until bubbly.

  2. Add Honey & Sauce
Stir in honey until fully combined, then add buffalo sauce.
Stir constantly over low heat until smooth and well mixed. Remove from heat.

Toss & Finish

  1. Coat the Wings
Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl and toss with the hot honey buffalo sauce until fully coated.

  2. Caramelize
Return wings to the air fryer and cook for 2–3 minutes, until the sauce caramelizes slightly.

  3. Serve
Transfer to a plate and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing. Garnish with blue cheese crumbles if desired.

Notes

  • Dry wings well: Patting them dry helps achieve crispier skin.

  • Low heat for sauce: Butter burns quickly—keep heat low and stir constantly.

  • Cook in batches: Overcrowding will steam the wings instead of crisping them.

  • Extra heat: Add a pinch of cayenne or extra hot sauce to the honey buffalo sauce.
