Get ready for crispy, golden Toasted Ravioli that’s crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Made with frozen ravioli and a simple breadcrumb coating, this easy recipe works beautifully in the air fryer or oven. It’s the perfect appetizer, snack, or party food—especially when served with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
12–16 pieces frozen ravioli (any filling)
1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-seasoned recommended)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 eggs, beaten (or non-dairy milk substitute)
Cooking spray or olive oil
Marinara sauce, for serving
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Set up a breading station:
Bowl 1: beaten eggs (or milk)
Bowl 2: breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan
Dip each frozen ravioli into the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange ravioli in a single layer and lightly spray the tops.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange breaded ravioli in a single layer and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crisp and golden.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
Don’t overcrowd: Give ravioli space so they crisp instead of steam.
Extra flavor: Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or chili flakes to the breadcrumbs.
Cheesier crunch: Parmesan adds flavor and helps browning, but it’s optional.
Crispier finish: A light spray of oil on top makes a big difference.
