This Crispy Parmesan Chicken with a Rich Garlic Sauce is a quick, comforting dinner that feels restaurant-quality but comes together in just 25 minutes. Juicy chicken breasts are pan-seared until golden and crispy, then finished in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce that’s full of flavor. It’s an easy, family-friendly meal that pairs beautifully with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved lengthwise)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup light cream or heavy cream
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or dried oregano
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup chopped spinach (optional)
Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic to the same skillet.
Sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
Pour in the cream, stirring constantly.
Add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Stir in spinach (if using) and let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
Extra Crispy Chicken: Coat the chicken in a mix of grated parmesan and panko breadcrumbs before cooking.
Don’t Burn the Garlic: Keep the heat low when sautéing garlic to avoid bitterness.
Fresh Parmesan Matters: Use freshly grated parmesan for the creamiest sauce.
Add Heat: A pinch of red pepper flakes adds a subtle spicy kick.
Sauce Too Thick? Stir in a splash of milk or chicken broth to thin it out.
