This Creamy Garlic Pasta is simple, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Every strand of spaghetti is coated in a rich, silky sauce made with garlic, cream, and Parmesan cheese. It comes together in one pan in just 30 minutes, making it perfect for busy weeknights. Enjoy it as-is or dress it up with prawns, scallops, chicken, or vegetables for an easy Alfredo-style meal.
2 teaspoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter
3 cups chicken broth (plus more if needed)
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
½ pound spaghetti
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
¾ cup heavy cream
1½ tablespoons dried parsley
Heat olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring until fragrant.
Add the butter and stir until fully melted.
Pour in the chicken broth and season with black pepper and salt. Bring to a boil.
Add the spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 12 minutes, until tender but still firm to the bite. Add more broth if the pasta begins to stick.
Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and dried parsley. Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Serve immediately while hot.
Use Fresh Garlic: Freshly minced garlic gives the best flavor.
Don’t Overcook Pasta: Cook just until al dente so it holds the sauce well.
Add Protein: Prawns, scallops, grilled chicken, or crispy bacon make great additions.
Veggie Boost: Stir in spinach, peas, or mushrooms for extra texture and nutrition.
Extra Creamy: Add a splash of pasta water or more cream if needed.
