12 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Cook Pasta – Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
Make Garlic Sauce – In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 min).
Add Cream & Cheese – Stir in heavy cream and simmer 5 min. Add Parmesan, salt, and pepper, whisking until smooth and creamy.
