Blackened Air Fryer Salmon Bites

Blackened Air Fryer Salmon Bites

These Blackened Air Fryer Salmon Bites are bold, flavorful, and ready in just 10 minutes. Tender salmon pieces are coated in a smoky, slightly spicy blackened seasoning, then air fried until perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. They’re delicious served over salads, paired with rice or grains, or tucked into bowls with roasted veggies and a drizzle of sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch chunks

  • Olive oil spray

  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika

  • ½ teaspoon dried cayenne pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

  • Brown rice, optional for serving

Instructions

  • Place salmon chunks in a large bowl and lightly spray with olive oil.

  • In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  • Sprinkle seasoning over salmon and toss until evenly coated.

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.

  • Arrange salmon in a single layer in the basket.

  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5–7 minutes, shaking halfway through, until salmon is browned and cooked through.

  • Serve hot with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • Even pieces: Cut salmon into similar-sized chunks for even cooking.

  • Mild or spicy: Reduce cayenne for less heat or add more for extra spice.

  • Crispier bites: Add 1–2 extra minutes of cook time if you prefer more browning.

  • Great for meal prep: These reheat well and stay flavorful.
