  • 2 large sweet potatoes, washed and scrubbed

  • 1½ tablespoons oil (olive oil or avocado oil works well)

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat Air Fryer
    Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Cut the Sweet Potatoes
    Slice the sweet potatoes into ¼-inch-wide strips for even cooking.

  • Season the Fries
    Place fries in a large bowl. Add oil and toss to coat evenly.
    Sprinkle in onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss again until well coated.

  • Air Fry
    Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding (cook in batches if needed).
    Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

  • Serve
    Remove once fries are golden and crispy. Sprinkle with extra salt if desired and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Cut evenly: Uniform strips cook more evenly.

  • Don’t overcrowd: Air needs to circulate for crispiness.

  • Extra crisp tip: Soak cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes, then dry thoroughly before seasoning.

  • Adjust cooking time: Thicker fries need more time; thinner fries cook faster.
