These Air Fryer Pork Belly Bites are irresistibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Seasoned with simple pantry spices and cooked in the air fryer, they deliver big flavor with less oil and far less mess than traditional frying. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or protein-packed main dish!
1 ½ pounds pork belly, patted dry and cut into 1-inch pieces
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, mix together oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add pork belly pieces and toss until evenly coated.
Arrange pork belly in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
Air fry for 18–20 minutes, shaking and flipping pieces a couple of times during cooking.
Remove from air fryer and serve warm.
Pat pork belly dry before seasoning to help it crisp better.
Cut pieces evenly so they cook at the same rate.
For extra flavor, add smoked paprika, chili powder, or a splash of soy sauce.
Serve with dipping sauces like spicy mayo, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
