Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (58 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1½ tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced

Optional Garnishes

  • Black or white sesame seeds

  • Green onions, sliced

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Stir well and divide the sauce in half.

  • Marinate the salmon fillets with half of the sauce in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and brush with the remaining sauce.

  • Air fry for 7–8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon, until cooked through and flaky.

  • Remove from the air fryer and serve hot, drizzled with extra sauce if desired.

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

  • No preheat function? Run your air fryer empty at 400°F for 5 minutes before cooking.

  • Add heat: Sprinkle in red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha.

  • Boost flavor: Try fresh ginger, lemon juice, or lime juice in the sauce.

  • Don’t overcook: Salmon is best when just opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
