This Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon is a quick, healthy, and flavorful meal made with just 4 simple ingredients. The salmon turns perfectly tender on the inside with a sweet, sticky, caramelized glaze on the outside—all in under 10 minutes. It’s ideal for busy weeknights when you want something delicious without much effort.
2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz each)
2 tablespoons honey
1½ tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
Optional Garnishes
Black or white sesame seeds
Green onions, sliced
In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Stir well and divide the sauce in half.
Marinate the salmon fillets with half of the sauce in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and brush with the remaining sauce.
Air fry for 7–8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon, until cooked through and flaky.
Remove from the air fryer and serve hot, drizzled with extra sauce if desired.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!
No preheat function? Run your air fryer empty at 400°F for 5 minutes before cooking.
Add heat: Sprinkle in red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha.
Boost flavor: Try fresh ginger, lemon juice, or lime juice in the sauce.
Don’t overcook: Salmon is best when just opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
