Ingredients

Scale
  • 650 g (22.9 oz) sirloin steak (or steak of choice), trimmed and cubed

  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • Pinch of red chili flakes (optional)

  • Low-calorie cooking spray

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic (or lazy garlic)

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted

  • 1½ tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the Steak

    • Place the steak cubes in a bowl.

    • Add paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and chili flakes.

    • Toss until evenly coated.

  2. Lightly Oil

    • Spray the steak pieces with low-calorie cooking spray and toss again for even coverage.

  3. Preheat the Air Fryer

    • Preheat to 200°C / 400°F for 5 minutes.

  4. Air Fry

    • Arrange steak bites in a single layer on the air fryer grill plate or basket.

    • Cook for 6 minutes, turning halfway through.

  5. Create the Garlic Butter Sauce

    • Remove the steak and grill plate, leaving the juices in the basket.

    • Add steak bites back in along with garlic, melted butter, and parsley.

    • Toss well and air fry for 1–2 more minutes to infuse flavor.

  6. Finish & Serve

    • Sprinkle with extra parsley and adjust salt and pepper if needed.

    • Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak for the best balance of tenderness and flavor.

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if necessary for proper browning.

  • For medium-rare steak, reduce initial cook time by 1 minute.

  • Add a squeeze of lemon or a pinch of parmesan for a flavor twist.
