Air Fryer Cinnamon Banana Chips are a quick, healthy, and naturally sweet snack you can make in just 15 minutes. Crispy on the outside with warm cinnamon flavor, these banana chips are perfect for lunchboxes, afternoon cravings, or a light dessert. Best of all, they require only four simple ingredients and no deep frying, making them a guilt-free family favorite.
2 firm bananas
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about ⅛ inch thick).
Place the banana slices in a mixing bowl and toss gently with the melted coconut oil until lightly coated.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over each slice.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crisping.
Transfer the banana chips to a plate or wire rack and let them cool. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
Use firm bananas: Overripe bananas will turn soft instead of crispy.
Slice evenly: Uniform thickness ensures even cooking.
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed for maximum crispiness.
Extra crunch: Add 1–2 more minutes if you prefer very crispy chips.
