These Air Fryer Chicken Wings are ultra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and made with no oil at all. They’re perfect for game day, parties, or an easy weeknight dinner. Enjoy them plain (naked) or toss them in your favorite sauce—either way, they’re guaranteed to be a hit!
2.5 lbs chicken wings
Kosher salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Optional for extra crispiness:
½ teaspoon baking powder
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat wings dry thoroughly with paper towels.
Place wings on a tray and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. If using, lightly sprinkle baking powder over wings and toss to coat.
Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 10–15 minutes, flip wings, then cook another 10–15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from air fryer and serve plain or with your favorite sauce.
Dry wings well: Moisture prevents crisping.
Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed.
Use baking powder: A small amount helps draw moisture from the skin and boosts crispiness.
Flip halfway: Ensures even browning on both sides.
