These Air Fryer Baked Garlic Parmesan Potatoes are golden, crispy, and packed with bold flavor. The air fryer creates a perfectly crunchy exterior while keeping the inside soft and fluffy—all with less oil than traditional roasting. Garlic and parmesan add rich, savory notes, making this dish an easy crowd-pleasing side for weeknight dinners, holidays, or casual gatherings.
1.5 lbs baby potatoes, halved
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash, scrub, and dry the baby potatoes thoroughly.
Cut them in half to ensure even cooking.
Season
In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
Mix well so all pieces are evenly coated.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Cook
Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Garnish & Serve
Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with extra parmesan and fresh parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy.
Dry the potatoes well before seasoning—moisture prevents crisping.
Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed.
For deeper flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or red pepper flakes.
Finish with a light spray of olive oil during the last few minutes for extra crunch.
